Message I have the same setup like you and I find it to harsf for a daily driver especially with my Tein Coilovers. I also a clunking sound when I come to a stop and nobody can find the problem. I am pretty sure its the aluminum sub frame bushings because they weren't a perfect fit for me. I had to grind them a bit to make them fit.

: I finally finished up my subframe project with a bit of help from the Mal1ce'd one.

: I posted the other day that I had started on it.. a little pic for ya!

:

: This is what it looked like when it came down. I replaced the diff bushings with ES versions, all the suspension arms with NISMO bushings and finally replaced the big subframe bushings with 300 Degree/Sonic Motorsport(NZ) solid aluminum ones.

: OK, my suspension package currently consists of Dunlop 8000s on the wear bars which spun readily 1-3rd before. Stock shocks (35k miles on the car), Eibach Pro .8" drop springs, OEM sway bar & bushings... coupled with the bushing work listed above. 3/4 tank of gas & a warmed up car. 350+ RWHP (mods since my last run)... AVC-r controlled to 1.05 bar

: The results were very impressive. Like Bernie, I still have a bit of wheel hop, it's not totally gone.. last week I was using the gear stuff in the AVC-r to kill the wheel spin/hop by trimming boost back 50% in 1st & 2nd. Tonight, Mal1ce & I just got back from tearing around an industrial area near my house. I killed the boost trim in 1st & second. Total launch would make the tires brake under power at 5.5KRPM... about where they used to, what's nice is it's not violent, just a little skip skip skip to it. My dental work is happy now. Second gear was more fun then ever. I could lay into it and the rear would just stick & go. 3rd+ were normal. I'm extremely pleased with it. When I get a traction control... it's game over. Not to mention some new tires. ;-)

: Overall driving feels pretty much the same. I need to get out & do some real cruising to know what's up the total feel. I noticed a slight change in what's out on the road being transfered to the car.. but not that much. Everyone that knew what I was up to made it wound like it was going to suck & I'd end up hating it because it would be too harsh. For me, nope. It really doesn't ride any different. Although I am the guy that thinks the 3" B&B isn't *that* loud. ;-)

: I'm going to flesh out Bernie's TECH page with a lot of new ideas & techniques I used to get through it probably tomorrow while it's 'fresh' en mi cabeza.
